Amarok Suspension Available

Tough Dog is proud to announce that the suspension solution for the Volkswagen Amarok is now available to suit a wide range of applications. Tough Dog has developed a Foam cell and adjustable shock absorber option for both front and rear of the Amarok, along with coil springs to suit vehicle with bullbar, and vehicles with both bullbar and winch. The tough Dog rear leaf springs are also available in a 0-300kg, constant 300kg carrying and constant 500kg carrying.

The Amarok front strut assembly has a “clevis fork” style lower mount. Tough Dog has worked to strengthen the clevis fork section to ensure quality, reliable performance.

Isuzu MU-X Suspension Available

Tough Dog suspension have released the suspension system for the Isuzu MU-X following the popularity of the new mid-sized SUV class of vehicles. Although similar to the Holden Colorado 7, the suspension system in the rear is different, and required extra research to ensure a quality suspension was produced. Both the Foam Cell and the 40mm Adjustable shocks are available, as well as light and heavy duty coils for the front and the rear. To make installation easy, Tough Dog can offer the front strut assembly as a complete assembly.

New Mazda BT-50 and Ford Ranger Lift Kits

Sitting pretty: the new lift kit gives the Mazda a commanding presence on the road

Tough Dog have just released their lift kit for the Mazda BT50 and Ford Ranger. 41mm Foam cell and 40mm 9 stage adjustable shocks are available for this kit. Several coil and leaf spring options are available as well as greasable shackles. Vehicle lift is 40mm. For an extra comfort option, the Tough Dog Nitrogen gas rear shock is an excellent choice.

The Tough Dog Foam Cell came in with the longest stroke out of the rear shocks we tested. It was also the equal-first largest bore size at 41mm, and the only shock to utilise the foam cell design. They were one of the only shocks to have a secondary stone guard skin on the vulnerable lower section of the rear shocks. A combination of great value for money and outstanding performance helped the Tough Dog Foam Cell take the crown of Best Shock Overall amongst some serious competition.
